Watercolour
Years ago, I was given a simple watercolour palette, including only 12 colours and a couple of brushes. Honestly, I never gave watercolour that much thought, the idea of putting water on paper with paint screamed stress and unnatural! However, little was I to know that I had a somewhat of a hidden 'knack' for this stuff!
After a few experimental testers to get the hang of getting the right ratio of water to paint (turns out I got a bit too excited and actually out waaayyyy too much water on the brush to start with that it didn't actually pick up any colour!), I did the standard search on Pinterest for inspiration and got to work.
Head phones on, world switched off, just me and the paint.
